How I look after your information.
This notice explains how Anton Le Roux-Keck (trading as Video Viking) collects, uses and protects any personal information you share through this website. It is written in plain language and complies with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act, 2013).

What information I collect
When you fill in the contact form on this site I collect only what you give me:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your production company (optional)
- The shoot dates you've shared
- The brief or notes you've written
I do not run third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or analytics that profile you. The website uses Cloudflare's privacy-friendly request logs only to keep the site secure and fast.
Why I collect it
I use the information you submit for one purpose only: to reply to your booking enquiry. I do not sell, share, or pass on your details to anyone else.
Where it is stored
Your form submission is sent to my inbox via Resend (an email-delivery service) and stored in my email account. The website itself does not keep a database of submissions.
How long I keep it
I keep your details for as long as is reasonable to respond to your enquiry and maintain a record of the booking. If we work together, I'll retain it as long as needed for tax and contractual purposes (typically 5 years per SARS rules). If we don't work together, I'll delete your information on request.
Your rights
Under the POPI Act you have the right to:
- Ask what information I hold on you
- Correct or update that information
- Ask me to delete your information
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za

Security
The website is served over HTTPS (an encrypted connection). Form submissions are encrypted in transit. My email account is protected by a strong password and two-factor authentication. I take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, but no online system is 100% secure. Please be mindful of what you share over any internet form.
